Okay, this just sucks
Jun. 11th, 2010 01:33 amMy right jaw/mandible has been hurting a lot over the past week or so. These things are not supposed to go *crunchpop* and make me wince every time I yawn or open my mouth to take a bite. Unfortunately, it runs in the family as sis has managed to dislocate her jaw a few years back and mum had a so called 'soft' dislocation and had to spend six weeks on a strict regime. We all grind our teeth rather badly, though I am the worst of the lot. I've been taking painkillers before I go to bed and in the morning to make sure I don't make it worse, and while I was at
azekeil's for a few days, the pain went away. I'm now back at home and at work and it's only taken a day for it to go back to the same. Yes, work is stressful and busy at the moment, but I didn't think it was that bad.
This is really unpleasant and is making it hard for me to sleep wel (or indeed get to sleep at all tonight). *sigh* I suppose it is time to go speak to the nice GP/dentist about this.
