I've currently got two viewings scheduled, two properties each. So that's four potential places.

After work I will be shown a fully furnished two bedroom flat for £550 a month (six month lease) and a three bedroom house for the same money. Both of these are in Irlam and within a two miles radius of work. This is handy because I can get rid of the car if needed, which will save money overall.

Thursday next week, I will be shown a one bedroom flat in Macclesfield for £395 (it looks decent) and a £595 property in Bollington. That price is currently rather high, but the landlor dis apparently willing to lower the price for long term letting.

I've also been looking around in Irlam some more and there's half a dozen I quite like the look of so I'll be calling that estate agent either today or on Monday.

I've made a list of stuff to ask and look for. Yay for househunting.

Sounds interesting. Don't forget that while you don't need a car for work, not having your own transport may be rather isolating in terms of visiting friends... *kiss*

This is true, but there's public transport. It may take more time, but it won't be a set amount of money I'd be spending every month. And if I need a car for a few days, there's still the possibility of hiring etc.

(And I'm sure I could also convince people to come and see me for a change ;))
