The hand is still there, and I'm allowed to move it again, in moderation. It's not as painful as it was last week. I just need to be careful when doing stuff, and I should be fine.
It looks like it's on the same timescales as my poorly wrist tendon was then - expect odd aches for the next few weeks as it finishes healing - and don't be tempted to overdo it for a couple of weeks - if it starts to ache then stop and rest it (even put it back in the strapping for an hour or two if necessary). A couple of weeks of taking it easy with it is far better than risking re-damaging it while it's still not quite healed.
