Went Out...
Mar. 19th, 2009 11:37 pm...and saw The Young Victoria with
the_ladylark. It was enjoyable. Historical fluff and the costumes were gorgeous. Well-deserved Oscar, that. I always like reading books like this and watching these kinds of movies, as long as they're truthful (or at least as truthful as one can expect from a film). I can't remember the words for the kinds of films I'm referring to...thing. Something with costume?
Am now home, which took some doing, as someone decided after 22:00 was a good time to start work on the motorways. Gits. Just when I wanted to get home quickly. I was feeling rather dreadful on the way back and traffic was being silly and to top it all off, I was stuck listening to Mark Lamarr for nearly an hour. Playing reggae. Now, I like him and I like reggae, but just a couple of songs at a time! And here I was, listening to song after song after song. They get rather dull after a while.
And then I came home, and I realised I could've just...you know, changed the station. Or turned the radio off. But I didn't think of that in the car, because I am a numpty.
