Home again. Well, not home home but on home soil again. Arrived last night and spent the night at the_ladylark and hobnobs's place in preparation for geeking today. Slept in this morning and after getting breakfast set up stuff and took the machine completely apart for a thorough cleaning.

Afterwards, faffing with different components happened and the verdict is the motherboard being shot. Swapped motherboard and powersupply and also swapped the video card. Machine works, fcvo work, as the main harddrive lacks an OS. That will be arranged this weekend. So yay for successful geeking.

And now I'm off for curry!
