sessifet | (no subject)

First day of eight days off. Woke up at 7 AM, went 'fuck that for a game of soldiers' and went back to sleep. Got woken up by someone reminding me that I have a pre-spelunking expedition tomorrow to see if I will be able to have an IUD replacement without general anaesthetic. Slightly surreal as I went 'Depends. You going to hang up if I say 'yes'?' in response to 'Oh, I'm sorry! Did I wake you?'. Her response to that was giggling and it went from there.

Spent the rest of the day lounging and doing nothing, really. Called work to tell my boss about a fault I was working on and forgot to give him the details to before signing off yesterday. Got told to stop obsessing and enjoy my time off. My probation ended today, so I am now officially safely employed. Whoo!

Realised when looking at the calendar (for my trip to .nl in June) that I'm turning 30 in a month's time! Excuse me while I go hyperventilate in a corner.^* Irony of Ironies: got carded at the off-license when picking up some wine and a packet of baccie.

Tomorrow I'm off to the pre-spelunking expedition, then probably going to go to the cinema in the evening and then on Wednesday I will head down to Coventry for Hunter snuggles. Yay!

^* Not because I'm turning 30 (honest), but because it's only a month from now and where the hell did the first half of the year go and ohmygod I'm turning 30 in a month!
