Slice of life: The Weird Division

azekeil on Friday evening: 'Look, it's a cement mixer! It's running away!' followed by 'I shot it. Now I feel kind of guilty.' Gods, I love that man.

I spilled some ground coffee on the floor this morning, so I get the dustpan and brush and turn back not 10 seconds later to discover Loki hunched over the coffee and industriously licking at it. Before I could shoo him away, he lost interest and wandered off outside. Fortunately, cats need to quite a bit of coffee before they get caffeine poisoning, so he's okay. Seriously though, that cat ain't right.

And finally, I bought myself turkey dinosaurs. I never had turkey dinosaurs as a child (processed slurry technology hadn't come that far yet, so I had to make do with luncheon meat shaped like a bear or Mickey Mouse if you wanted to get really fancy). So, because I am a psychologically strong and healthy individual (despite the tragic lack of turkey dinosaurs in my formative years) and I've retained my sense of childhood wonder, I bought turkey dinosaurs. I may share them with azekeil. I may not. I have not yet decided.
