I just got a phonecall telling me all training programs for April have been cancelled. So...I don't have a job.

It just isn't fucking fair.

To be fair, the callcenter that was hiring me didn't know about this until this afternoon. It's not their fault, it's Essent that decided to stop all training programs and hiring procedures until further notice.

There may be. I'm still on the list, so they'll give me a ring when training starts again, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Plus, I can't afford to wait for them to maybe start up again in May.

Fortunately I've been forwarded to another company where they also need people, and I'll hear more about that tomorrow.

I just wish people would stop making me feel like a yoyo.

Something similar happened to me once, actually. It sucks. It's highly frustrating when what they're basically saying is "We need people, we think you're good, but someone told us we can't hire anymore."
