I is pink. Very pink. My back and arms have settled down, but my stomach and shoulders are very pink and fairly painful. so painful in fact that it's hard to wear tops with straps, which is most anything I have. I have, however, learnt that I can fashion clothing out of materials at hand. Which meant that most of the day, I wandered around with a random piece of cloth tied around me. My legs still remain white, though. I wonder what I'll have to do to make them tan...or at least go slightly pink, because this is just getting freaky.

Spent today watching The 10th Kingdom, a very good mini-series wot got pimped at me by hobnobs a while back. It's a very good series, and I highly recommend it. Just...don't do what I did and watch it in one go (it's slightly over 7 hours long). *falls over giggling*

The rest of today was spent picking up things around the house and catching chickens, who've managed to escape no less than than three times today. I wonder how they manage it.

If it's a very bad sunburn I'd go see if you can get anything from the pharmacy for it...
If you can get something with silver sulfadiazine in it - all the better. It's also very good for other types of burns.

I highly recommend No Ad's factor 45 - it's waterproof and not expensive for such a high factor. Slather it on. Run around in the nud for 10 minutes to let it soak in. Then go about your business. So far it's stopped me from burning, and I've been to the beach, swimming, etc etc.
Various pareos and whatnot are also recommended for fashioning floaty airy coverup things.

I'm thinking of writing a 'Summer for the Fair Skinned' article ;-)
