Sessifets and the Sounds They Make: A Beginner's Guide.

Gyargh! A sound of annoyance and frustration. Can be accompanied by flailing of arms. Most commonly heard in the work environment.

Gni A noise made when Sessifets pick up objects that are heavier than previously suspected. Sometimes followed by Oh bugger.^*

Oohohohoh A noise much like that of a demented gibbon. Usually signifies that something shiny has been spotted. Case in point: Being given Necronomicon for Christmas by hobnobs.

Bzuh? Noise of confused bewilderment as Sessifets try to figure out what the heck is going on. sometimes caused by being given a pressie which looks like a ball of technicolour wool, but actually turns out to be a technicolour scarf.

Eeeeee! A noise created when something really shiny has been spotted. Can cause bats to fall out of the sky and dogs to wish they had hands to clap over their ears. Is known to cause eye-rolling and squee- harshing in housemates over 6' tall. May have been caused today when the_ladylark gifted Nurk for Christmas, but cannot be determined as Sessifet was too busy going 'Eeeeeeeeee!'^{^}

Hee Noise of extreme happiness. Can be caused by many things. Such as receiving a small^{^^} care package

^*Oh bugger A noise generated when something has gone very wrong and Sessifets feel like assorted bits are about to revolt, fall off, set fire to their room or when, as is usually the case, a hip has gone clunk.<sup>**

**</sup>Clunk The noise a Sessifet's hip makes when it slips out of place. Usually followed by Gni.<sup>***

***</sup>Gni Noise made by Sessifets when everything from the hip upwards and the neck downwards is spasming and pain signals are congaing up and down the nerves going 'DadadadadaKICK' and having altogether too much fun. Gni is the smaller and more elusive relative of Gni.

^{^} For those of you not aware of this, Nurk was written by the awesome ursulav, writer and artist of Digger and creator of such gems as Hamster Angst and drunken wildlife. So. Yes. Eeeeeeee! Nurk! Hee!

^{^^}Considering this is a Sessifet's mum, small means 'really rather large'. Also the cause of the above Gni, but fortunately not the rest.

'Eeeenodon'tdothat!' Sound made by a CCA when things tip on floor. Especially when said things are food, jewellery-making beads, or catnip. (Double especially when it's catnip and the cat's in the room and is already busy getting high on her catnip toy)

Sessifets only purr in specific circumstances. These circumstances can include shiny bikes, pointy swords and assorted weaponry. They definitely have to include attractive men, though. ;)
