Styrofoam romance

While preparing desk molishment, the styrofoam fell in love with me and followed me around. This was rather disconcerting. I went to the left and the styrofoam went 'Whoo!' and followed me. I went to the right and it went 'Whee!' and followed me. I lef the room and it went 'Noooooo! Statiiiiic,' and clung to me like a lovestruck limpet. Going 'nyargh!' and flapping my hands led to a small snowstorm, which promptly settled again in my hair. And my shirt. And my cleavage (which is impressive as this shirt does not expose said cleavage). I eventually got rid of them.

Halfway during desk building I realised there was something amiss on my shoulder. I looked round. A 5'' piece of styrofoam smiled and waved sheepishly. ''lo', it said. 'Oh no, you don't,' I said and made a grab. 'Wheeee!', it went as it crawled between my shoulderblades. I spun around. 'Yay!', it went. In the end I had to scrape it off on the bed. It was unhappy with me. I picked it up and threw it in the bin, where it and its brethren used their combined powers and went 'Wahey! and jumped at my hands. I eventually got rid of them too.

And then I went to the bathroom. There was a small piece of styrofoam. How on earth it got there, I don't know. Possibly it has phasing powers. It had gone where no piece of styrofoam had gone before. This was certainly true after I flushed it down the loo.

And now to bed.

I will probably wake up with yet another stray piece of styrofoam staring at me and sighing wistfully.

Never have glitter at a party - we still see occasional pieces from a party we had about 5 years ago. And it turned up in a glider in Scotland! We knew it was ours because it was purple and hexagonal.
