sessifetHad mum and sis arrive on Tuesday with pretty much all my stuff. Wednesday I took them past my work and to the really big Tesco in Irlam, where we spent several hours wandering around. Many cries of 'Oooooh!' were heard. Got care package from mum and sis, lots of stuff to share and things for me, including pictures of nibling. Nibling has my sister's nose. I then had a wonderful image of nibling of sister's height and build and general looks with brother in law's brown curly hair. Was advised that if I started referring to nibling as 'Hobbit' would get me killed.
Thursday was spent showing them around Horwich and many charity shops and later on the Trafford Centre. They enjoyed it and many more cries of 'Ooooh' were heard.
Friday was spent driving around the Peak District and having lunch at The Vale in Bollington. Had a bath in the evening.
Today they left for Hull around midday and the boat taking them back to .nl left at 21:00. Am now tired after unpacking my things and sorting out books. Got rid of a shelf full of books and now have no more space for books. Amazon has just told me they're sending me the order I put through 6+ weeks ago. I'm doomed.
Am watching Lord of the Rings DVDs and just relaxing. Monday I'll be back at work. Oh, and Liverpool won against ManU 4-1 today. So I'm really very happy.
