York is pretty

sessifetWent out today (was actually driven out by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
da_pol due to me feeling very rough this morning) and spent the afternoon in York with mum. She'll be going back home at the end of the week and I won't be seeing her again before then.
There were shops and more shops and nice nibbles and a pint of nice beer and gawking at scenery and a street performer on a ladder all chained up and a food festival type thing and a really nice shop which sells the entire Erdinger range. I did not get any Erdinger, but I did get some Moniak mead and a bottle of La Chouffe.
Operation 'Get Happily Tipsy' will commence this evening.
