Continued adventures in geeking.

Geek fail: I completely failed to realise what to do with the drivers for my soundcard when they didn't come with a nifty little executable.

Geek win: I realised what was going screwy during boot-up, went into BIOS and re-ordered the boot devices, thus solving the issue.

Yeah, you tell me what's going on up there, because your bet's as good as mine at this point.

When backing up Calypso, make sure to copy the actual bloody mailbox to the second drive instead of the fucking shortcut, you sorry excuse for a geek.

So, log-in data for nod32 lost (meh, only 2 days left until it expires anyway), email addresses lost (expect pokage in the next few days) but worst of all, there were some mails that dad sent me. Fucksticks.

Tantrum was duly thrown, all the way to .nl. Some new swearword combinations were invented and any eavesdropping neighbours got a free a lesson in Dutch and English foul language.

It's not the end of the world, but it's bloody stupid and...bleh.

ETA: I currently have an application running that might be able to find something. I like my brother in law. If this can't find anything, it's gone. I'll at least have learnt to double-check...
