'Well, that shuts me up. Wait, how did you know to do z?' 'Geek with geek friends.' 'Ah.'). Explained the difference in the subsys numbers and was told that made no sense and shouldn't make a difference. Considering we've done all things possible and then some and the computer starts going 'splodey when the drivers are forced on by fiddling with the .inf file, he's 90% certain the card's a goner.
It's 6 or 7 years old. Guy's going to see if there's a possibility of making me an offer on the new USB version of the Firepanel, which would be nifty as I like Terratec. May decide not to as I've not done any recording in a long while and I'm not sure I'm going to...
