One of the new 3rd liners keeps mailing the engineer's mailbox with non-engineer related queries and then arguing with any response we give. His battlecry: 'what am I supposed to do now?'. He doesn't even know that we do not send out routers to anyone because we're Networks, not fucking Santa Claus.
He has been told repeatedly to stop doing this, but it doesn't seem to have registered yet. I am getting sick and tired of handholding him through every single step in this big scary world of dealing with us. I don't mind educating people, I really don't, but this one's about as good at absorbing new information as a piece of basalt is at absorbing water.
Oh, and we are unable to book engineers at the moment as the OpenReach systems are throwing a hissfit and throwing their toys out of the pram. There are currently 20 requests in the mailbox and Glod knows how many lurking in our reseller queue.
