Ordered O2 broadband last night. I decided to go for that because I can a) get a discount because I've already got an O2 contract and b) the Pro package gets me a nifty wireless router which can do 802.11n (backwards compatible with b/g as well, so my iPhone can connect if it really doesn't want to have anything to do with n) and gets me a free static IP address, which will just be handy for networking and Stuff.

Got a text earlier that the box is to be delivered on Monday and my go-live date is next Wednesday. Whee!

I'm on Pro. I decided it was worth taking the very small decrease in download speed ( 20Mb/s down to about 18 ) to get the faster upload to my on-line albums.

Wii and Xperia phone connect fine to O2 box.

Note, most of the comments on the broadband sites are talking about O2 Access which is run via BT. You see hardly any comments about the LLU stuff.

One final thing. The O2 DNS servers were playing up, they are supposed to be OK now but I'm using those from IT at Home.
