I'm defrosting the freezer. In the past half hour, I've been visited by two cats in various stages of 'wet'. I wonder how they manage it. Are they sitting in the freezer?

The obvious answer would be "Of course".

Think about it.

It's a space that's normally closed to them. It's a place they don't know yet. It's roughly box-shaped. A human fusses with it. They'd be in the way if they climbed in.

Rule 2 Of Being A Cat requires them to crawl in. Even if it means getting wet in the process.

(All that's missing is carefully folded fresh laundry, really.)

Not so much your actual Rules of Being a Cat, but enlightening nonetheless. Besides, you don't think the cats would ever tell us their Sekrit Rules, now do you? :)
