sessifet | Hurrah!

The downstairs hallway is nearly wallpaperless. The woodwork on the stairs has been sanded, cleaned and painted 'cotton white' and it looks so much better already. Next step: have plasterers come over to make a quote for both hallway ceilings. Afterwards, I will sand the walls, fill in any large holes and then paint the walls and ceilings (which hopefully willl be done by then). I need to get/steal/borrow a stepladder to do that properly, though. And an extension-y thingy for the roller. Hrrmm.

I am tired, sweaty, filthy and achey in that 'I Have Done Work' kind of way. I am also extremely happy. I think I deserve a cool shower and a cold beer.
