Poorly laptop

sessifetMy laptop is slightly loopy. This is an improvement over it being poorly and overheating pretty much as soon as it was turned on.
I asked the Wise One to show me how to take apart my laptop so I could clean the dust out. This ended up in me being shown how to take apart the laptop, not actually taking it apart myself while being instructed on how to do so. Subtle difference there.
But at least I know theoretically how to take it apart. After it was put back together again it went a bit silly because it's not dissipating the heat correctly. Thermal grease is required, or so I've been told.
This apparently will not happen until before the weekend. I am miffed. Not sure if I'm impatient enough to go buy some myself and do some geeking.
