Seriously, you want me to spend money and stay with you? Then the least you can do is do what I ask you to do! I'm not going to get into a haggling session about upgrades and contracts when I'm at work. Call me old-fashioned if you will, but that shit does not get sorted during work hours! I will drop everything for a friend in need and work can just go hang, but stuff like this? No, you will call me outside of office hours (which I will have given you the first time), because I'd like to be able to give you my full attention.
Furthermore, if I ask you to call me on my landline? I have a really good goddamned reason to! I'm not just saying so to be mean or awkward, honestly! I want to know what you have to offer me, I really do. You can call me after work on my landline because my mobile reception is dire and all conversations would end up going like 's-nktflur-lekrs-stmn-imkfif-ypoun-sksssh--duutduutduut'. I know you can ring me after a certain time, because that's what you've been doing. Unfortunately, you idiots have been calling my mobile! How do I know? Because my phone keeps going 'bzzbing!' telling my I've missed a call whenever a free signal tower floats within range and my phone goes 'ooh, we had a missed call!'.
Yes, I know I can call back, but...no, I'm not going to. I asked you for a simple thing. If you really want me as a customer? Read the bloody notes left on the damned account and do what they say.
