Wait, what?
Jan. 11th, 2012 05:23 pmIf you have not played Dragon Age 2, this may not make complete sense. For those of you that have, my rant is .
So I've finally managed to get far enough into Act 2 to get some companion quests. Mostly, I'm enjoying them. Helping Varric get revenge on his bastard brother? I'm all over that! Helping Aveline fight crime and find new love? I'm in. (Oh gods, she's terrible at this. It is adorably cringeworthy.)
Aaaaaand then there's Anders' quest. The 'Tranquil solution'? A 'peaceful way to deal with the problem of mages'? Really, script writers? You went there? Oh gods, I am side-eying you so hard right now. This could have been a heart-breaking and tense and morally ambiguous quest. Instead, you crowbar a reference to the Holocaust in there. Really? And then several someone's went 'that's good' and allowed it to go into the game!
Damnit, BioWare, I am disappoint.
