The saga of the mouse continues!

For those who haven't read my status last night:

"Godfuckingdamnit. Loki caught his third mouse of the evening. It's alive, it's in the kitchen and hiding behind the goddamned sideboard. I can't move it on my own, Alex is asleep and I've got both cats prancing around the kitchen going 'fuzzy toy go wheeeee!'. Tempted to just close the door and let them get on with it."

I did, in fact, close the door and let them get on with it. By the time I went to bed, nothing had happened, about from Loki desperately trying to squeeze himself in the half inch gap between sideboard and wall. When I got downstairs half an hour ago, both cats were staring at the fridge like is was about to sprout a tail and ears and scurry away squeaking.

I wish it would, because that sucker is heavy and I am not going to go on a mouse rescuing quest with two cats in the house and no back-up. Jazz occasionally pads back over to the fridge to ineffectually wave a paw around under it. Loki's off chasing his own shadow. *sigh*

We've just found the mouse Ella brought in on Sunday morning. It is now an ex mouse that has ceased to be. (I think it got squished while we were moving stuff around and looking for it)
