All my stuff has been hauled down to the living room, apart from the big things such as my bed, bookcases and dresser. Cousin will come lend a hand putting all the stuff in the van and taking it out again.

While they do that, I'll have a chance to clean up the absolutely mind-boggingly humongous mess I've managed to create.

When all my stuff's moved, I will unpack boxes and bags and such and get rid of items I no longer use/need/want.

No, no, no! You chuck stuff out before you move it! Then you don't have to move it. Much more efficient.
